The site has been developed by initiative  Institute of Medicinal Plants (Leader Mrs. Lali Dateshidze). The goal of this site is support to  reforms and establishment of civil market relationship in pharmaceutical field, development of infrastructure of medicinal herbs and pharmaceutical production, prevalence of  medical news between professionals, extension of electronic means of information exchange, development of telepharmacy.
The header of the site does not limit its content. There is vast  information targeted as on specialists,  as readers belonging non medical professionals.
        Some items are intended to be  updated gradually pursuant to visitors participation.

Creation of the Georgian Pharmaceutical web-site has been initiated  in the framework of the program "Support of Establishment of Infrastructure of Medicinal Plant manufacture   in Georgia"  supported by the Eurasia Foundation (resources of USAID).
